1. Overview
XSPORTTV provides football news, live scores, statistics, free prediction competitions, state and national leaderboards, and referral rewards. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. This notice describes the data we process and your rights.
2. Information collected
We may collect usernames, email addresses, securely hashed passwords, selected Nigerian state, account registration and email verification status, optional first and last names, date of birth, competition eligibility information, predictions, submission times, results, leaderboard records, referral codes and relationships, reward qualification and redemption records, account communications, IP addresses, device information and security logs.
An adult date of birth and verified email are required before entering restricted competitions. We may request additional information for prize verification where a prize has been announced.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use information to provide accounts and competitions, verify age and eligibility, record predictions, calculate scores, maintain national and state rankings, administer referrals and one-time season redemption, prevent abuse, provide support, improve services, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the processing activity, our legal basis may be contractual necessity, legal obligation, legitimate interests where appropriate, or consent where required.
4. Public rankings
Public leaderboards may show usernames, states, match prediction scores, season referral bonuses and rankings. We do not intentionally publish email addresses, dates of birth, legal names, passwords or identity documents. Weekly rankings contain prediction points only; season rankings may also include redeemed referral bonuses.
5. Referral information
We record the referring account, direct referral relationship, registration order and date, email verification, eligible game participation, the point value awarded to each referral, qualified and unqualified points, and redemption transactions. Referrals 1–50 award one point each; referrals 51 onward award two points each. Points qualify for redemption only when the referred person registers, verifies their email and participates in at least one eligible prediction game.
Qualified referral points can be redeemed once per season, during the calendar-validated redemption week that leaves at least three further matchweeks in at least three leagues, for a bonus equal to 20% of points redeemed rounded up, applied to one selected season-long leaderboard. Unredeemed points expire at the end of that redemption week. We keep necessary transaction and fraud-prevention records after expiry.
6. Cookies, advertising and analytics
Essential cookies may support login, security and core functions. If analytics, advertising or other nonessential technologies are enabled, additional notices and consent controls may be necessary. 7. Sharing and international transfers
